Expected to draw tourists from around the world, the phenomenon will not be fully visible again in this region for another 360 years.

How To Safely View The Eclipse
A direct look at a total eclipse is only safe during it’s totality, when the sun is entirely blocked by the moon. On April 8, 2024 that will last for over 4 minutes and 20 seconds here in Burnet County.

- Expect heavy traffic Thursday 4/4 – Tuesday 4/9. Especially Monday, 4/8.
- Burnet, Lampasas, Lometa, Llano & Marble Falls schools are closed Monday, 4/8.
