Enjoy a day on or in the water, an afternoon nap in the hammock, an evening dinner in the open kitchen with a view of Lake LBJ, and a nightcap on one of the three outdoor decks at Lazy Shores in Burnet County.

Lazy Shores a great place to play both indoors and out

The outdoor space at Lazy Shores on Lake LBJ rocks! It has so much space to hang and play that it will be difficult to wander inside to enjoy its sleek, modern interior. It’s a premier place to stay in Burnet County.

Lazy Shores is located in one of the best tubing and waterboarding locations on Lake LBJ. Tie your boat or personal watercraft to the dock, which has plenty of bumpers and cleats. You can play on the paddleboards and climb aboard a seven-person raft to truly enjoy the water and then choose among several observation points from which to relax and view the amazing scenery.

From the top of the new double-decker dock, you can watch jumpers on the rope swing or jump in yourself. A shady space on the water down below provides plenty of seating. In the evening, cozy up to the latest addition to the property: a tiki bar!

In the large, grassy yard, two ground-level pads offer space to lounge in the sun or the shade while the cooks of your group grill on either the charcoal or propane grill. Hang out by the fire pit or take an afternoon nap in the hammock.

The house itself has two outdoor living spaces, both decks overlooking the water. One is ground level off of one of the two master suites, while the other deck extends from the living space upstairs.

This top-of-the-line gem of Burnet County lodging and resorts features three bedrooms and three baths with the potential to sleep 12. Big, comfy, king-size beds occupy two of the rooms, and a bunkroom sleeps six. Two twin mattresses can be placed anywhere for the kids or drop-in guests.

The beautiful living space features an open kitchen with ample seating on the modern sectional, at the island, or at a table overlooking the water. A full-service laundry room allows you to wash and dry all those towels from a day of play in the water.

You’re only 10-20 minutes from shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Lazy Shores is a fun and relaxing place to stay in Burnet County! For reservation information, click here.
