Independence Day 2025 celebrations
The Highland Lakes of Burnet County (and a little beyond) marks America’s birthday with Fourth of July fireworks, parades, live music, and more.
Marble Falls
Lakeside Park, 305 Buena Vista Drive
The Marble Falls Parks and Recreation Department hosts a free July 4 event on Lake Marble Falls.
The fun includes:
- 1-5 p.m.—free swimming at Lakeside Pool
- 7 p.m.—live music starts at Lakeside Park
- 9:15 p.m.—fireworks show over the lake
Spicewood
Krause Springs, 424 CR 404
The private, spring-fed swimming hole and campground hosts a free fireworks show at dark. Arrive early—the gates close at 8 p.m. Other good viewing spots are at Spicewood Elementary, 1005 Spur 191, or along CR 412 near Krause Springs.
Kingsland
RM 2900/RR 1431 area
AquaBoom festivities take place in various spots across town. The following are on July 4, but activities are scheduled for the entire holiday weekend.
- 9 a.m.—children’s parade; carnival opens
- 10 a.m.—grand parade; arts-and-crafts vendors open
- 11 a.m.—car show
- 12:30 p.m.—patriotic costume contest at 1136 RR 1431
- 5:30 p.m.—live music starts at the RM 2900 bridge
- 6 p.m.—boat parade on Lake LBJ
- 9:15 p.m.—fireworks over Lake LBJ
